Antique Cinnabar Bracelet and Brooch/Pin. Appears to be In excellent/barely used, condition.
Bracelet measures: 7″ clasped. Weight: 44 grams. Pin measures: 4″
Hand carved cinnabar, original pieces from China, in perfect condition. Each block of cinnabar set, when closely inspected, you will find little differences in the patterns, denoting its hand carved status, as it is with the silver work. This art is long lost from what is being produced today. Clasp clicks firmly. Pin finding is a bit bent, “China” imprint on back on both. Intricate silver work on both of these pieces, with its many filigree and hinge work, all handmade and it is astounding to find 2 pieces in perfect condition, produced from 1890-1930’s.
Original patina intact with the silver wash exposed in a few places.
